Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Hello to all the Wisconsin county coordinators.
We now have pages up for all 73 counties - 69 of which are hosted. (Still need
hosts for Ashland, Forest, Iron and Oneida). I've redone the Wisconsin Table
of Counties page to reflect this. Please check that the URL for your page is
correct, and that you have the correct URL for the neighboring counties that
are linked from your page.
I've added a Civil War query forum to the main Wis. page and will be adding an
unknown county query forum soon.
FYI -- 39 counties are using the GenConnect query system, 23 have Biography
forums, 25 have Obituary forums, and 25 have e-mail lists for the county. I
don't have a count on those counties using the Query Express system.
I again ask anyone who is NOT a county coordinator and on this mailing list to
please let me know.
Thanks for all your hard work.

Thanks Joanie! WSGS appreciates your support. WSFHC will be the largest
genealogical conference held in Wisconsin to date. For any of you who
would like the web site URL, it is:
http://www.rootsweb.com/~wsgs/wsfhc.html
The Wisconsin Sesquicentennial Family History Conference (WSFHC) will be
held October 23-34 1998 at the Monona Terrace Convention Center. Twenty
wonderful speakers from throughout the U.S. and Wisconsin, great vendors
and a lovely location. The web site lists the program schedule, speakers
profiles and a printable registration form among other things. The price
of the conference is a bargain compared to other conferences of similar
caliber! You can print out the registration form and send it in via snail
mail to the address listed.
