I am posting this to the Wayne list for information and sending a copy
directly to Ted, since I don't know if he is on this list.

Ted,
My Quaker relatives seemed to participate in the census when taken,
including the 1840 & 1850 Wayne Co census. Of course, my relatives
seemed to have an on and off relationship with that faith. I was just
back in the Richmond area a few months ago visiting some Quaker
cemeteries and found my gggggf and gm WILLSONs graves and ggggm Ester
Lamb Adamson's so this must have been a forgiving group of people to let
my ancestors be buried there:)
Also, does anyone know of any HUNTs that are Quakers in the Richmond
area?
I am related to some HUNTs, LAMBs and ADAMSONs, Quaker families from the
Richmond area, but my branches moved west in the 1840's and shortly
after the Civil War.
These families would probably have been with the Quaker migration that
came up from North Carolina. I believe the reason given was to move to a
"free state" because they could not abide slavery.
If it sounds like we might be related, please email me. My sister has
all the Family Tree Maker stuff and can be more specific.
