Remember that what you have found in the LDS records are from the IGI and
Ancestral File and are submissions to those databases from people like you
and me. Often, there will be errors. There no is documentation listed. The
only source is the person who submitted the file. and that name is
available. I don't know if they have that provision on the web site, but you
can go to a local family history center and easily get it from their
computer. I use these DBs as clues only.
Sorry, can't help you with the Catholic records. But, I undertand they are
quite good. What about phoning the Catholic churches in Cambridge City to
see what they have in their archives? Did you get the Catholic clue from
the FHC web or is this info from other sources?

Just recently I was trying out the new Family History Center website.
For the heck of it, I ran my grandfather's name. To my surprise, he is
entered twice--both entries seem to be inaccurate. Neither listing
shows him as being born in Cambridge City--which is what he always gave
as his place of birth.
