Trey:
Glad to: We found that to get such data for any member of a Masonic
Lodge in the State of Ind., one must apply to the Grand Masonic Lodge for
the State of Ind. Upon a formal request submitted via snail-mail, they
will do a genealogical search of their records. You give them as much
information as you can (We were able to supply name, residences, and
dob.), enclose a check for $15, and in due course you will likely get
such information as they may have.
Their address is PO Box 44210, Indianapolis, Ind. Phone: (317) 634-7904.

Pat,
If you get an answer to your question, could you please share it?
Thanks,

Subject: [Wayne Co Ind] John D. Wilson
Friends:
So far I've been unable to learn much about my particular brickwall, my
GGrandfather John D. Wilson, who appeared in Wayne Co. in about 1850
from ????, married my GGrandmother, fathered a son, and vanished.
I'm told that, when a man applies for membership in the Masonic Lodge,
he
is required to submit considerable information about his forbears. My
Grandfather, William M. Wilson was a member of the Masonic Lodge, in
either Wayne Co., or possibly in Jay Co., therefore, I would like to
access the information he submitted as a part of his membership
application.
Can anyone advise me how to contact the Masonic Lodge of Wayne Co., in
order to access this information?
