Well, it was the truth about the name, as when I was in junior high
[only 55 years ago] We had a Jim Hollopeter, a nice kid as far as I
knew. As God is my witness, there was another boy named Rudy Raper.
Yes, we have a family with that name and it is a well known name here.
As far as I know another nice kid with an unfortunate name. The jokes
are not necessary, the kids went bonkers on them back then.

I hope this isn't taken badly, but I can't keep myself from thinking how

brave the schoolyards. ; )

Hi:
I believe I have located the people you are looking for. I have
found an obituary in our library index for John Hollopeter, but I
didn't find one for Zilpha, so I did some searching of the census
reports. They have Zilpha and John living in Wayne County, IN in 1850
& 1860. However, in 1870 they are listed as living in Nashville, TN.
This may be why I didn't find an obit for her. I will get John's obit
and see if it says where he is buried. I will let you know soon.
Thanks, Joyce
