Wow, what terrible news. The wealth of knowledge and her unselfish interest
can NEVER be replaced. Everyone on this list has lost an irretrievable link
to our past. Her legacy will be safe, though, in our hearts and prayeres.

Subject: [Wayne Co Ind] Loss to Centerville & Wayne Co.
I just hear the sad news that Inezetta Stiver passed away at age 90.
Mrs
Stiver was the premier historian of Wayne County, and Centerville in
particular. She was the greatest promoter of Historic Centerville and the
Centerville Woman's Cemetery Association. She wrote a column for the
Western Wayne newspaper. She was a member of the Centerville Town Council,
the Centerville Christian Church, the National Old Trails Chapter of the
D.A.R. and many genealogy societies.
