Researcher seeks kindred spirit who would do him the great service of
looking up four obituaries in the Palladium-Item, held on microfilm at the
Morrisson-Reeves Library, printing them out and mailing them to him. I have
the relevant date/page/column references, so this shouldn?t (I hope) take
long. Perhaps someone who regularly uses the Library in this way could add
this request to their next session of work there? I should be happy to pay a
reasonable fee or, if possible, reciprocate in some way. Please reply
offlist.

If no one else volunteers to do this, I might be able to do it since will
be in the Richmond area during the week of 6/17 but just for a day on
another matter. (I live in Oregon). I've used this library myself so am
familiar with this task.

Hi Tony:
If you don't get any bites on this request you should try to contact the
library directly. I have had success with this approach. I asked for
several articles and received them electronically. And quiet fast as
well. The email address I used was library(a)mrlinfo.org.
Best of luck,
Nancy

I recently moved to Richmond, IN and I am willing to help others in
their research. I am quite familiar with the genealogical resources
available at Morrisson-Reeves Library. I also have a digital camera
and GPS unit that I will begin using to locate and record tombstones.

Karen, I noticed your last name of Ruhl. That's one of my lines. Mine
immigrated from Reichenbach-Darmstadt-Pfungstadt Hesse area of Germany and
settled in St. Clair County Illinois. Kim.

Hi Tony:
She gives good advice. The reference department at Morrison-Reeves
Library is very good.

Tony,
Try contacting a volunteer from Random Acts of
Genealogical Kindness at"
raogk.com
I have used these volunteers as well as volunteered
for this site. The volunteers will do look-ups for
just the cost of copies and mailing if necessary.
