Richard,
I noticed this site listed the newspapers:

You'll probably also like this detailed map of East Germantown:

Thanks for all the good responses to my query about Germantown.? This is
the East Germantown that I now see on the atlas.? I just bought an IN Atlas
and Gazetteer on July 4th at a booksale.? I'm not in Indiana, so this is
going to help with the townships.?
I will have to try to write to that Hudddleston Huddleston Farmhouse Inn &
Museum as they have ?one of those homes for one?I am researching,? (Martin
Funk), namely the ?Martin Funk-Johnson House.? I already tried googling it
without too much success.? Is there any e-mail or address for them for out
of staters???
I'd be curious as to what newspaper ran in that area.? It sounds like it
started out as a German speaking area, which was the PA Dutch language that
all those who settled there that I am researching originally originally
spoke.? But perhaps they eventually had an English language paper? Or would
any county wide paper have covered this area?? I would ?like getting the
microfilm and reading the film from front to back since I have so many
relatives who settled there.??
