They have a good library there. I bet they could answer the question since
they have a genealogy section.

I do know there was a Warfel family, who were Pennsylvania Dutch, and
built
a house along the National Road. They were not in my direct line, who moved
from Lancaster Co.PA to Tipton Co., IN after the Civil War.
You might check with The Huddleston House Museum- part of Historic
Landmarks Foundation of Indiana - for history of the area.

Does anyone know of any history done on the city/town of Germantown?? An
extensive number of my relatives settled there and in nearby areas.? They
were all PA-Dutch, and descended from a common ancestor going back to the
late 1600's.
