Hi Kim,
I have a one surname study on going. I sent my Gilpin Graves lineage to the list. It is
not connected to the Joseph Gilpin Hannah Glover descendants. WE have tested 12 men so far
and have found 4 different lineages, of the four, two are suspected as Non Parental
Events. None have paper work to Joseph and Hannah. WE need a Gilpin / Glover descendant to
test.
I have over 5,000 individuals Gilpins in the file.
This is what I have for your line:
1. Samuel (III) Painter. He married Esther Gilpin August 5, 1741 in Concord MH, Chester
(now Delaware) Co., Pennsylvania.. She was born January 9, 1717/18 in Chadd's Ford,
Birmingham Township, Chester County, PA and died January 10, 1795, daughter of Joseph
Gilpin and Hannah Glover.
Primarly I try to list the Gilpins and maybe one generation of non Gilpin children.
You can see the Gilpins and the sources at
http://www.gencircles.com under Gilpin Surname
Study. It was this set of Gilpins I was talking about when I stated about the COA of
Richard the Rider - Richard deGuylpyn, in my comments to Steve. and the Poem....
