Bonnie,
I have Martha's father's name as James Cooper b. England (1745?), d. VA
1784, but that's it. William Crawford's will was written in
Crawfordsville, Montgomery Co. Have no idea what he was doing there.
He's buried in Wayne Co.
Sure - feel free to give my name to a Meek(s) researcher! We're also
interested in that surname on my husband's side of the family. His
great-grandmother's middle name was "Meeks" - probably a family name. She
was born somewhere in IN, married & probably died in Lawrence Co., IN.

Yes, Martha Meek(s), can I give your name to a researcher? Did William
did
in Centerville, and is the Will in Wayne Co., IN? Did your William
go to
Crawfordsville, Marion County, IN? Do you have anything on the Cooper's?
We
have a Vincent Cooper, b. prob KY that came here to Hancock County,
Indiana.
