Bonnie,
My g-g-g-g-grandfather was William Crawford (1745-1826), married Martha
Cooper. Their eldest son James Benjamin Crawford (Sr) m. Elizabeth
Robbins Crawford were my g-g-g-grandparents. I have one Wm. & Martha's
sons as Nathan - married a Meek(s).
The Crawfords came from Botetourt Co., VA in abt 1812 & settle in Wayne Co.
I believe that I have a copy of William's will that names most of their 8
children. I have never seen anything that said they were Quaker, but have
also never seen anything that I can recall that said exactly what their
religious preference was.
My direct line is
4th great grandparents: Wm. & Martha Cooper Crawford
3rd great grandparents: James B. & Elizabeth Robbins Crawford
2nd great grandparents: James B. (Jr) & Patience Shaw Crawford
Great grandparents: Wm. H. & Lulu Austin Crawford
Grandparents: Ralph Wm. & Pearl Irene Collins
Parents: (Doris) Pauline Crawford & Wm. H. Ramsey
