The Wayne Co Genealogical Society has researchers that are happy to
help. There's a fee, but not too bad. I had some work done a few years
ago; I think it only cost me a total of $45. The lady that was assigned
to me did a lot of work; she just about exhausted all the sources that
she had available to her. I got a lot of good info from that. Here's
the link; you can check it out and get in touch with them. If you're in
the Richmond area, even better. That's where they're located; perhaps a
local phone call could get you a lot of basic info on what to do, and
how much it might cost.

Good luck!

Subject: [Wayne Co Ind] hired researcher needed
Hi,
Could anyone suggest a genealogical researcher? I am looking for someone
in
the Richmond area who has easy access to the surrounding towns, the
Morrison-Reeves Library and can communicate and transfer files via
e-mail.
My patience has grown slim, through the years, in writing letters,
waiting
months for a reply, paying money up front and getting little
information,
continuously scouring the Internet for a "connection"...haven't we all
been
there :) I don't mean to seem ungrateful for all the help I've been
given
for "free" and I do in return help here locally when I can, I just think
I'm at the point of hiring someone who can specifically help with my
brick
walls. Any suggestions?
