There are several Jarretts buried in Locust Grove M. E. Cemetery in Abington Township,
Wayne Co., IN These are the listings from Beverly Yount's "Tombstone
Transcriptions of Wayne County, IN"
James b. 11-21-1811 d. 8-?- 1815 ( I have not been able to locate this tombstone in
the past several years yrs. It may be a stone that is broken and flaking away. If Beverly
Yount's reading was correct, this would be the oldest recorded burial @ Locust Grove.
