May years ago I visited the library in Richmond to search for information on
my Custer ancestors who mostly lived in Jackson Twp/Dublin, Wayne Co, IN. I
found several obituaries and an interesting article about Jacob Custer, a
brother of my gr-gr-grandfather Solomon Custer. I made copies of the
information and article on the one computer/ copy machine??. The copy of
the article was of very poor quality and I always meant to return to try to
get a better copy but the years went by, we moved to Florida and my vision
has slowly become worse. So I would be very grateful if there is a chance
someone could find the article about Jacob Custer written about him when he
was quite elderly.
I am also interested in any articles about his daughter Ella Custer who was
a postmistress of Dublin, Wayne, IN sometime in the late 1800's into the
early 1900's. I believe she died about 1930. I would also really
appreciate any pictures of her, also.
Thanks for any help.

Hi Kim,
Thanks for the link to the history for Wayne County. This information seems
to be an OCR version that wasn't edited. I also found another link that is
much better at
http://archive.org/stream/historyofwayneco00inyoun#page/n7/mode/2up
I will post links to these pages on the History index page of the web site.
Darlene
