Hi welcome to the list.
If you could post some specifics on your family, I am sure people on the
list will help you out.
(dates and locations for birth marriage and death if known, or est.)
There were many families from NC that moved to Wayne county early on, they
spread out to neighboring counties as the land became available, so you may
wish to check in Henry, Delaware and Randolph counties also.
Many Quakers moved from NC, so you may be able to find information in the
Hinshaw, Encyclopedia of American Quaker Genealogy.
Many of the families stopped in Ohio for a bit before moving to the newly
opened land in Indiana.
Here are some resources to help in your search,

Greetings!
New to the list. What resources are available on the white settlers to
Wayne county in the 1805-1810 time period, such as tax lists, lists of
voters, etc.?
I have heard stories that some of the first settlers to the area were from
North Carolina. Any truth to this?
My surnames here are Wilson and Mosier (maybe Mosier, not sure what her
maiden name was).
Many thanks,
Bob Wilson,
Burrton, KS
