If you go to Cyndi's List and find ship records you might find something. I found two
of my ancestors through their list and one of them left from Liverpool.

Subject: [WALES-GEN] Liverpool Ships Lists
Hi!!
I am researching my great grandmother, Elizabeth Jane Davies, who emmigrated to
Canada in the early 1900s. I know much of her family did and does now live in
Llandudno, but I have been unable to pin down her place of birth. Since that
name is very common in the records I can't find her without a place of birth.
Liverpool seems to be a logical embarkation point for her. My question is, are
the Liverpool Passenger lists available to search online? Ports like Bremen and
Hamburg are online now. If Liverpool's records aren't online, is there any talk
of them being put online? They might be able to list her place of birth. Thank
you
Robin
