Hello
My anccestors lived in the County of Gloucestershire England in the early 1700's.
The family always use to say they were Welsh. Was any part of the County of
Gloucestershire ever included in Wales due to changes in Boundaries of Counties?
Thank you,
R.Bowles Meentzen

As per the description on Rootsweb, "...A mailing list for anyone with
a genealogical interest in Wales, United Kingdom. The language for the
list is English." There is also contact info for the List
administrator if I am incorrect and/or further info is required. The
contact info is:
WALES-GEN-admin(a)rootsweb.com
Hope this helps.

Hello All, I am writing this as a clarification as to what I have
signed up
for, while following up my family line there seemed to be a conflict
as to
whether the site is for WALES the country or for the surname Wales can
someone advise me as to which it is.
