"Thomas D. Morgan, aged 50 years, died on Saturday of consumption at the home of his
sister, Mrs. John M. Davis. He emigrated to this city from Carmarthanshire, South Wales,
thirty years ago. He is survived by one brother, Morgan D. of New Market street, and four
sisters - Mrs. Elizabeth James of Wales, Mrs. W.H. Williams of South Sherman street, Mrs.
James D. Jones of Northampton street and Mrs. John M. Davis of New Market street, at whose
home he died. Funeral at the church, corner of Northampton and Meade streets, of which
deceased was a member. Services by Rev. Mr. Jones, pastor of the church, and Rev. Hugh
Davis of Hyde Park, Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock."
