Subject: [WALES-GEN] Military Records
Is there anyone on the list that can tell me how to obtain a copy of
military records? I am trying to obtain records for Thomas Shadrach Davies;
DOB 1914/1915. According to a marriage certificate in 1940, he was a
Fusilier in C Company, # 4202315, in Royal Welsh Fusiliers, 18 Platoon, 311
ITC. In 1944 according to information given on a birth certificate he
listed his occupation as: #4202315, Sergeant 6th Battalion, Royal Welch
Paratroop Regiment.Timekeeper Public Works of Brookside, Llangynidr.
Thomas stated he was born in Pennsylvania, U.S.A. but I am having difficulty
tracing him there and was hoping his military records would give some
information that would be helpful or may even show that he died.
Thank you for any help/assistance you may be able to give me.
