Hi R J & List,
International Reply Coupons (IRC) are bought at our Post Offices,
and sent with your correspondence overseas, the person overseas
exchanges them for stamps to hopefully reply to you, I use to
send two at a time to Australia, they told me that it didn't
quite cover the stamps to send a letter back.
The IRCs use to cost 60p each (some 7 years ago), but don't
know how much they are today.
Regards
Tina in cool Whitstable, Kent

Hi, They are coupons that can be exchanged for postage stamps
in a different country.and are usually used together with a self
addressed
envelope.
So you can buy the coupon send it with your
letter and SAE abroad, and the recipient will not have to pay the return
postage
to reply to you.
In the UK they are sold in Post Offices.
They are recognised by all countries belonging to the International Postal
Union .
Cheers Peter.
