"Mrs. Anna Jones, wife of T.P. Jones of Olyphant, Lackawanna County, and mother of
Mrs. John Walkingshaw of this city and Mrs. J.H. Jones of Nanticoke, died on Monday of
bronchitis. Mrs. Jones was born in Newbridge, South Wales, and was 64 years of age. She
came to America with her husband forty-one years ago. They resided in Scranton about
thirty years. Twelve years ago they moved to Taylor, where Mr. Jones was proprietor of
the Lackawanna House for six years, and later removed to Olyphant."
