"Morgan T. Williams of Hillside street, who was badly hurt in the Red Ash mine on
Friday, died at the City Hospital on Saturday.
"Deceased was one of the best known residents of the Heights. He was born at
Hirwain, South Wales, in 1855 and was 46 years of age. The only relative in this country
is Thomas Llewellyn of the Heights, to whose home the body was taken. Burial will be in
Hollenback Cemetery and Rev. R.T. Roberts of this city, and Rev. Theophilus Davies of
Miner's Mills will officiate."
[Article on his funeral in the 25 Sep 1901 issue, Page 12, indicates he was buried beside
his wife; Thomas Llewellyn was his brother-in-law; and he had several nieces and nephews,
but they're not named.]
