Hi Bill
I just had a quick look at the Welsh Archives and they have a
lot of
information in relation to your Lewis connection, but not Terrick.
I note that the Rev was often referred to as H. Elvet Lewis or
Elfed
Lewis . . .
Sorry I couldn't find out anything you don't already know.
Best wishes,
Mandy

My wife's son-in-law's great grandfather is Howell Elvet LEWIS.
Howell was born on 14 Apr 1860 in Y Gangell, Blaenycoed, Cynwyl
Elfed, Carmathenshire, Wales. Howell was a famous bishop of the
Church of England, I believe. He wrote many Welsh hymns for the
Church. I googled his name and there are 790 hits.

in 1775 in Wales. I have no idea where. I know that is like
saying she was born in Ireland or Illinois. TERRICK does not
appear to be a common name from trying to search the name so far
(It may end being as common as Smith/Jones in the US). However,
I thought I would put it out there and see what happens.

mainly in Ireland, Lancashire, and Illinois. I have no knowledge
of where to start on either case, although, I have more on the
LEWIS clan than the TERRICK clan, so any help would be greatly
appreciated.
