Hello list
Anyone see any connection with the following? Would be very glad to hear
from you.
RICHARDS, Joseph, mason, born circa 1827, St Twynnells, Pembrokeshire,
brother of Thomas, Francis, Martin, and John RICHARDS.
Joseph married Elizabeth DUGGAN, school mistress and nurse, born circa
1830,Castlemartin, Pembrokeshire.
Children:
Jane, born circa 1851, Monkton parish, Pembrokeshire;
Sarah M., born circa 1851, Pembrokeshire;
John Duggan (my gfather), born Apr 1, 1853, Monkton (later moved to
London);
Joseph, born circa 1856, Monkton.
Living in Monkton at Orielton Mill (1851),East Orielton Cottage (1861),
and
Orielton Cottages (1871).
Also seeking DUGGAN in South Pembrokeshire from 1750s to 1870s. Does anyone
have any record of school teachers named Duggan in this area?
As yet, I can find no trace of Jane, Sarah and Joseph nor parents in the
1881 census at least locally. My wife and I searched Haverfordwest 1881 last
September, to no avail. In 1881 my Grandfather was recorded in Leeds
although my G mother was in London They married in 1878.
My main desire is to trace descendants of these 2 G.Aunts and my G.Uncle.
Any DUGGAN descendants would be a wonderful added bonus, it being my second
Christian name.
John Richards. (St Albans UK)
