I found a 2 month old Richard Hughes in 1851 living on High Street, Swansea,
Glamorgan. He's living with grandparents, Evan & Anne Morris. There's an
Anne Hughes, age 24, also living with the family who could be his mother;
however, it's not clear.
I also found an Elizabeth Cook in 1851, age 3, living with her grandparents,
William & Margaret Bowen in Llanddarog, Carmarthenshire. Elizabeth was born
in the Workhouse, Glamorgan.
Hope this helps. I'll see if I can find them in the later census. I'll give
you more information from 1851 if you think these are the people you're
seeking. Let me know.

Subject: [WALES-GEN] Census lookup please
Can someone be so kind as to do a look up on the census records for me. I am
looking for Richard HUGHES (born about 1851) and Elizabeth COOK (born about
1848) in Glamorgan, so hopefully they will both be on the 1851 census
onwards.
They were both married by 1881 and living in County Durham.
I am sorry there is nothing else to go on, but that is all I have at the
moment.
Many thanks
Mark
