Thank you so very much for all of your help on my HARRIS, both in Cardiff
and in Bristol. All of this will be sent on to other members of the HARRIS
line. As well, as I will continue searching for more information. If any
one ever needs anything in Oklahoma, Payne Co., let me know as that is where
Daniel and Kate Harris settled in 1892, after about 10 years in Nebraska.

I think I have found the Burial Ground, in Redfield,Bristol.
On the Old-maps web site,
http://www.old-maps.co.uk/ , put in
362026,173500 as co-ordinate. You will see on the enlarged map that there
is a Redfield Road running roughly WSW-ENE across the map about half way
up. You will see on the map a Chapel with Burial Ground marked behind it.
You will also see Victoria Road running roughly NS across an area shown as
'The Wilderness' a little to the right of the chapel. Comparison with a
modern map of Bristol shows a number of changes. The railway diagonally
across top left of map has become a 'Cycle Walkway', Victoria Road has
become Victoria Parade and Redfield Road has become Church Road. The small
streets either side of the chapel are shown as Gilbert Road and Albert
Street, with Edward Street to the left. The building shown on corner of
Church Road (formerly Redfield Road) and Gilbert Road which was a Chapel
in 1880s map is still visible if you find the location using Multimap
search, and the aerial photo shows a green area behind it where the burial
ground was, though Albert Street seems to have had the central part
removed.
