http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/wal/PEM/Haverfordwest/Pigot1830.html shows that
there was a Quaker meeting house in Haverfordwest in 1830. There may well
have been one a hundred years earlier. You need to find out where the Quaker
records are for Pembrokeshire. They may be linked with other meetings in
South Wales. Glamorgan FHS has recently published a CD of Quaker Records. I
have not seen it, but there may be something on it suggesting where records
may be held.
If you can get into Quaker records, they are often very detailed.
http://www.quaker.org.uk/Templates/Internal.asp?NodeID=90018 seems to be a
useful guide prepared by the Religious Society of Friends. The nearest
Meeting to Haverfordwest these days seems to be at Friends Meeting House,
Milford Haven. On the Quaker web site there is an email link. However local
Quakers may not know of the location of historical records for their area.

Hi Peter,
You are quite right, my mistake, John was born 1743 and died 1809 - not
checking what I had written!! Do you have any suggestions as to where I
might find any information about this bloke in Wales?
Regards
Maree
