Hello everyone
I recently sent a query to the list, about a village that my husband's
family hailed from originally, in CAERNARFONSHIRE, WALES that no longer
exists. A hydro-electric power station was built on the mountain nearby, and
the valley that the village was in, was filled with water.
Thanks to all for your suggestions, but further research that a relative has
done, suggests that this village might have been called CEFN HENDRE.
Does anyone have enough knowledge of this area to confirm or discount this
for me? And if this is correct, can anyone give me any information about the
village.
Many thanks
Seonaid Lewis
