"Mrs. William J. Davies of 380 South street died on Sunday night of child birth and
the little one also died. Deceased was aged 38 years and she is survived by her husband
and three children - Mary, Emily and Miriam. Mrs. Davies was born in Rhendirmwyn, Wales,
and came to this country twenty years ago. She was a nice of Hon. Morgan B. Williams,
Timothy Theophilus and Mrs. David Evans of this city. She was a faithful member of the
Welsh Presbyterian Church.
"The funeral of mother and child will take place on Wednesday at 2 p.m., with
services at the house by Rev. Hugh Davies. Interment will be in Hollenback
Cemetery."
