"Mrs. W.W. Reese died yesterday at her home in Parsons at the age of 68 years, of
general debility.
"Deceased is survived by three sons, A.D. Reese, Henry D. Reese and John D. Reese,
all engaged in the grocery business at Parsons. Her husband died November 2, 1899
[William W. Rees' death was posted to Wales-Gen-L on 06 Aug 2002]. She was born at
Berkenshire, South Wales, and came to this country with her husband in 1863. She enjoyed
the respect and esteem of a large circle of friends, and her attributes were those of an
ideal woman. She was a life-long member of the Baptist Church and for years had been
interested in church work.
"The funeral will take place on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with services in
the Welsh Baptist Church. Interment will be in Hollenback Cemetery."
