My mother is a Coleman, she and her many cousins all say the Coleman family
came from Wales. I have no way to know what the spelling of Coleman name
might have been in Wales.. I have my line to Jordan Coleman b. abt. 1770
VA. USA and his wife Nancy Anderson b. abt.1784 NC. USA they married 1809
Rutherford CO TN. Surnames I am also working on in this family are
Bird/Byrd, Boone, Southall and Grigsby. I have wondered if the connection
could have been a wife? Also the name Quay is a common middle name for
daughters for many generations.
Thanks For Any Help

Subject: [WALES-GEN] WILSON
Hello!
Would greatly appreciate help looking for birth records of:
WILSON, Walter H., b. 17 July 1868 in Wales.
He is my wife`s GF. She remembers hearing family memers say he was from
Wales. We have no other info on the location in Wales. We do know he
emigrated
with his family to New York, USA in 1873.
Thanks,
Chuck Scarborough
