Hello Margie, There is a picture of a Talbot Inn on this site
http://www.travelpublishing.co.uk/HiddenPlacesWales/NorthPowys/wal10831.htm
but it's in Welshpool which is a town near to Guilsfield.(by my map about 2
or 3 miles)
but it certainly seems old enough .
Cheers Peter.

Subject: [WALES-GEN] New to this list !
Hello everyone,
I'm new to this list and I could really use your help . My interests are..
that
dreaded "Jones" family. Sorry !!
In the 1851 census -- Parish and Village of Llanfechan, Montgomeryshire..
I found -my GGG.. Grandfather David Jones born in 1792. The census told
me he was
60 years old at the time ... and a "VICUALLER" at the Talbot Inn.
in Guilsfield.
I would like to know more about this "Talbot Inn.. and if anyone
knows
where I can get a picture of the place.. I would really appreciate that.
I would also like to know more about David Jones. who he was married
to
etc. etc..
Thanking you all in advance.
Regards
Margie bmpage(a)sympatico.ca
