Hi researchers,
I'm new to this list. Seeking baptismal record in Wales or North Wales
where Susan JONES was born in 1838 [see her obit below], daughter of
Rowland JONES and Elizabeth [nee THOMAS and/or EVANS] JONES.
She emigrated in 1854 to Trenton, New York; I do not know if her parents
or sisters [listed below] emigrated with her or not. Susan JONES
married on 8 April 1858 in NY, John HUGHES, possibly son of David HUGH,
born Dec. 1824 in Anglesey, North Wales.
Her sisters born in Wales or North Wales between 1829- 1844 were Matilda
JONES, Elizabeth JONES who emigrated in 1855 and Mary JONES.
Children born in South Trenton, Oneida, New York between 1861-1875 were:
Edwin HUGHES [my great grandfather], Jennie HUGHES, Frank HUGHES, George
HUGHES, and Charles HUGHES.
Many THANKS :-) in advance,
Jan Jordan in Vermont USA
