Vaynor parish church in the county of Brecon. The parish included northern
parts of Merthyr Tydfil.

There was a Carmel Baptist chapel in Cefn-Coed-y-cymmer (possibly in Vaynor
parish but listed on GENUKI in Merthyr Tydfil)

Subject: [WALES-GEN] Surnames BEVAN, HARPER, DAVIS, WILLIAMS
I am looking for information of the following people who are my great
and great, great grandparents from Wales.
My great grandfather Taliesen Bevan son of John Bevan and Sarrah Harper,
born 5 Jan 1845 in England then from Dowlais. He married Jane Williams,
daughter of David Williams and Mary Davis, born 31 Jul 1848 in Merthyr
Tydfil, Glamorgan, South Wales. They married on 22 Dec.1866. I have
immigration information and much more.
David Williams married Mary Davis on 28 Jan 1843 in Carmel Chapel. I
can't make out where on the certificate although I do have a picture of
the chapel that was taken for me. Perhaps County of Brecon. His
father was David Williams and her father was David Davis.
John Bevan and Sarrah Harper were married at the Parish Church in
Baynor? in County of Brecon on 12 Feb.1842. His father was David Bevan
and her father was George Harper.
Any information or where to post for replies would be appreciated.
Thank you. Mary
