I think & I'm told that this surname has WELSH origins. I would greatly
appreciate any knowledgeable inforamtion or a referal to publications
whereby we may verify this. I've seen some deriviations, ie. EWAN, EWEN
McEWAN, MaCEWEN, McCUNE, NacHEWAN which allow similar transition in most
