"At noon yesterday occurred the death of David Parry, after a brief illness of
pneumonia. Deceased was well a favorably known and he leaves behind a large circle of
friends and acquaintances to mourn his death. He was born in Abernaut, Wales, and has
been a resident of this town for the past twenty-two years. He is survived by his mother,
his wife, one son, Charles, and the following sisters: Mrs. Charles Lake, Chicago; Mrs.
Ann Thomas, Edwardsville; Mrs. Margaret Evans, Olyphant; Mrs. Elizabeth Williams, Mahanoy
City. The funeral will take place from his late home to-morrow afternoon at 2:30
o'clock. Interment will be made in Forty Fort Cemetery."
