On Monday afternoon David R. Thomas, aged 47, an old resident of Plymouth,
died of consumption after a lingering illness. He buried his wife several
years ago and resided with his daughter, Mrs. Zephaniah Rees, on Willow
Street. He had an adult son who also resided with him. He has another
daughter, Mrs. W.J. Davis, of Hillside Street, Wilkes-Barre. He was a
native of Merthyr Tydvil, Wales, and was a moulder by trade, but had not
worked at it for several years. The funeral will take place this afternoon.
Interment in Plymouth Cemetery. Rev. Jacob R. Davis will officiate.
