"Roland E. Jones died suddenly at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Fred
Huddy of Carbondale, yesterday morning. He had been in poor health for
several years and his death was due principally to the infirmities
attending old age.
"Mr. Jones was born in North Wales on Sept. 22, 1820, and was 76 years
old. He came to America when he was a young man and settled at
Plymouth, where he resided until four years ago when he moved to
Carbondale.
"Two sons and one daughter, living in Plymouth, and Mrs. Fred Huddy of
Carbondale survive him. The funeral will take place on Sunday
afternoon."
