"Only a few weeks ago Mrs. Grace Williams of 38 North Meade street died, leaving her
husband and six children. Yesterday occurred the sudden death of the father, Thomas
Williams, who passed away at 12:20 in the morning. What will become of the six children
is a problem that remains to be solved. They are in need of sympathy and help. Both the
parents were natives of Bethesda, North Wales. Rev. H.P. Morgan, 25 North Meade street,
will be glad to receive any help that friends may feel disposed to send and the public is
earnestly asked to remember these children, who are left without father or mother. The
eldest is 19 years of age, while the youngest, a baby, is only 6 months old.
"The funeral of the father will take place on Saturday at 2 p.m., Rev. H.P. Morgan
officiating. Before leaving the house those attending the funeral service will have an
opportunity of contributing in aid of the fund as above suggested."
