Hi, all,
I have a batch of ten naturalization records for various Richard Joneses in Luzerne
County, Pennsylvania, USA. Unfortunately, none of them are my Richard Jones. I figured
maybe one of you out there can claim a relative? I hate to have these valuable records go
to waste, as they must "belong" to someone.
If anyone out there has a Richard Jones from Wales naturalized in Luzerne County and
recognizes one of the below summaries as a possibility, drop me an email. Most are
relatively sparse, but the later ones have more information.
1. Born Llanidloes, Wales 5 April, 1872. Immigrated Oct. 1910.
2. Born Carnarvon, Wales, 18 June 1887. Immigrated Jan. 1906.
3. Born Aberstwith, Wales, September 1876. Immigrated September 1887.
4. Born "Wales" Aug. 1806. Immigrated 13 April 1862.
5. Born England 1816. Immigrated 1819.
6. Born Wales Immigrated in 1833 at the age of 18.
7. This one is a "Richard P. Jones" immigrated on 15 May 1864, under the age of
18.
8.Born Wales August 1806, immigrated April 1862.
9.Born Wales 3 June 1835, immigrated Oct 1886.
10. Born Wales 23 November 1883, immigrated November 1904.
I have sent this message to the Luzerne County List, PennsylvaniaGen list, and one to
Powys as well. Sorry for repeats.
Yours,
Elysia Jones Whisler, Virginia
