"The body of Thomas W. Jenkins, who died on Thursday morning in the Pennsylvania
State Hospital at Pittsburgh from injuries received in the mines at Turtle Creek, near
Pittsburgh, will arrive in Nanticoke on the 8:46 Pennsylvania Railroad train this morning.
Mr. Jenkins left Nanticoke about three weeks ago to work at Turtle Creek. He is survived
by his wife and three children. The deceased was born in Pontypryd, South Wales, and was
45 years of age.
"The funeral will take place on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment in the
Nanticoke Cemetery. Services will be conducted in the cemetery chapel by Rev. Mr. Smith
and Rev. Charles Jones."
