"The death of Robert H. Thomas of Plymouth occurred yesterday morning at 2
o'clock, of general debility. The deceased was 83 years old and was born in
Pontyeath, Glenmorganshire, Wales, and came to this country some thirty years ago. He
resided at Pittston for a short time and then removed to Plymouth. He was an active
member of the Welsh Presbyterian Church and often served as chorister. The deceased is
survived by his daughter, Mrs. Ann Williams, and her children, James, William, Bert and
Mrs. Lizzie Williams and Mrs. William F. Powell. The funeral will be held on Wednesday
afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be in Shawnee Cemetery."
