Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Hi everyone,
We thought you would like to know that we have made a definite connection
and it is very exciting. I am descended from the first marriage of Morgan
Lewis to Mary Ann Evans of Cwmdeuddwr and Elysia is from his second one to
Margaret Owen also of Llangurig. This is an example of the way the "lists"
can work very well for the researcher. I always think it is very important
to send a reply to the list for everyone to see and not just to the person
making a request, further correspondence can be carried on off line.
Regards,
Margaret Harvey

Please could anyone with an 1841 census please look up to find out if there is a Witts family in your area I`m looking for William H.WITTS who would have been
10 or 11 years old, I believe he also had a brother Lewis (or Louis) WITTS age unknown.
The family was from Somerset, but moved into Wales and appears to have moved around quite a bit. by 1881 William H Witts was in Newport M. but thats the only place I have found him.
Regards
