To All Wagenweb,
I must apologize for leaving you out of a circle. Let me know if you feel
differently than I do.
For the last 10 days or so the State Coord. list has been discussing the
need of a posted Code of Ethics for volunteers. I read some of the email
that stuffed my mailbox while I took a vacation. When I finally realized
they were voting on this subject, I thought a minute and decided to vote
"no", we don't need a posted code of ethics. My reasoning was that a
posted code will not stop much of the stupid behavior that has gone on
before and the more rules there are the fewer volunteers because it is a
pain to keep up with what appears to be ever changing rules. At least in
this state, there have been no problems to date. You all do your jobs,
more or less, within the guidelines.
Anyway, if you care or have questions or comments, let me know. At first
I was the only one who voted no, but now there are a few others.
I'll let you know if you have to learn the code,
Celia Tomlin
