I've read the by-laws and looked at the candidate lists.
First I think the by-laws are well written from a non-legal type point of
view. It appears like the by-laws try to protect volunteers who spend their
time trying to provide information to all the researchers out there.
Second, the problem with the candidate lists is that they are all very
qualified for the positions they are running for. Usually in local, state and
federal politics we have limited choices and are divided by politically
charged issues. In this election we are united in purpose of providing good
sites for genealogy work. I find it hard to decide who to vote for.
