Interestingly enough, I only get these on my Clark Co. webpage--not my two
OH or my KS pages. Maybe they're actually reading the disclaimers on those
3 pages which say I do NOT live in the area (unlike many genealogical
researchers--<g>).
As for me, I don't get them very often, so I deal with them as they come.
If I know a source to help them, I will give them that information. I
recently had someone write to ask me where to find the information on
specifications for the roof pitch of the retirement home they were planning
to build in Clark Co. Since I have a friend in real estate, I forwarded it
on to him to see if he could help--and wonder of wonders!--he knew where to
go for that information.
The ones that I don't have a clue to, I answer and say I'm sorry I can't
help them, that this is a genealogy website and they have asked a
non-genealogy question for which I have no answer.
Alice Allen (a mom for only 32 years--almost--so I know where' you're coming
from).
