Hello, ListFolks!
Wanted to let you know about a new data page on our SnoCo site - a list
of Everett High School students, graduates and faculty who served in
WW1. The URL is
http://www.rootsweb.com/~wasnohom/scevtww1.htm
Now, to make this data page even more useful, I need to find An Expert
Personage to translate the abbreviations used in the NOTES column. I can
GUESS at some of them, but I need to be 100% sure... the "acronyms"
pages I checked were not much help.
Are YOU that "Expert Personage"? Do you know of a resource that can
"translate" those WW1 abbreviations for me?
And while I'm at it, is anyone else working on a survey of high school
yearbooks (around 1919) to compile a similar list? ANY file that puts
an individual (or family) in a given locality at a given time can be of
great use to our county page visitors.
(It may be time to make ANOTHER trip up to Marysville to hang out in
Darilee's Genealogy Library...)
Hope you are all enjoying a glorious summer!
Regards,
Marge - CC Ferry and Snohomish Counties
