Well Kevin,
I admit the statemet page is on a different what appears more personal server and may give
the appearance of a personal statement rather then the TX GenWeb. but the main link to
that page is on the front page of TX GenWeb.
http://www.rootsweb.com/~txgenweb/ which
tells me that the state agrees with the statement regardless of where its posted.
I must also agree i doubt if the front office is denying it allows living data to be
posted and if a state or county page which is not backed by state law concering freedom of
information may be treading in a grey area regardles of the federal law concerning freedom
of information. It soon becomes a moral issue rather then a right.
I suppose my first intent was to bring a wake up call and see if there is a voice vote
here in WA Gen to see where we stand on what may become a growing Internet option,
"personal data online for all to read" Do we really need a online statement? or
do we walk into the night knowing we don't need one now.
