Subject: Data Base for Cemeteries
Hi All:
Just a suggestion. Some cemeteries have a data base that they will let you
have access to. I was fortunate here as the Director of the Parks Department
keeps all of the deaths for our local run cemetery on data base, and when he
ran the last up-date he gave me the old one, with all additions. You would
still have to extract additional info from the tombstone, but for those
occupants who do not have headstones they would be listed on the data base.
Also those who have not put theirs into a data base, may let you have access
to their cardex file as long as personal information is not extracted. It's
worth asking about.
